For most people, the interesting part of our story is that we adopted three boys, not that we’re gay. If a child ever questions the boys about the family set-up, they calmly explain that they have two dads, looking at their interrogator quizzically as if to say “What is it you don’t get?” To them, we’re just Dad and Daddy, and that’s all there is to it.
